Berry Picking

July 7, 2012
This year, Eleanor was old enough to be walking around and helping with the berry picking. She was a great picker at first. No shrinkage. The berries got pretty smushed with her given picking technique...but she was picking and dropping in the bucket.

Then about 20 minutes later, she discovered the berries were edible and tasty. Switch to open mouth, insert berry.

Then she started pillaging the buckets in the wagon.

Warren and Sophia had a good picking system and worked together to fill the buckets

You can clearly see where Eleanor gets her berry sneaking from.

My little day laboror

Our haul for that day- 2 kinds of raspberries and one blueberry

Blueberry picking- the only kind of berry that Bethy will pick AND eat
