This weekend we said good bye to one of our good friends, The Andersons. The Andersons moved to the Bay Area shortly after we did and they were one of the first couples in which we felt were our good friends. We have some good times with them and we will miss them. Since they are moving to Utah we thought we would list a few things we did or witnessed with them while they were with us in the Bay Area. Hopefully this we convince them that they will come back soon.
1. Weekend trip to Yosemite and sacrament meeting on the lawn of the church
2. Camping at the Nielsen’s property
3. Cutting down Christmas trees in the Santa Cruz mountains
4. Attending the Ballet in San Francisco
5. Giving our couch away to Russell’s friend who was from a “plantation”
6. Running into the Anderson’s on numerous Friday nights at the Apple Store
7. Primetime passes and the Gymboree sample sale (Thanks Russell!)
8. 5k Human Race
9. Anderson eateries AKA Hamburger and Hot Dog BBQ
10. Making stilts for scouts
11. Game nights at the Hammers or our house
12. Waving at Russell from my (Warren’s) office
13. Watching Russell carve his wife’s Christmas present on the BART
14. Watching Porter be the most obedient young boy we’ve ever seen
15. Canning food storage (talk to the hand)
16. Betsy B-Day party complete with parachuting army men
17. Hatching throwing contest while camping in Watsonville
18. Pumpkin pancakes at the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival
Russell, Betsy, Porter, Reid, and oh yeah Terry we love you and we’ll miss you!
