Berry Thief

Towards the end of summer, the berries that grow wild start to ripen. It's shouldn't be so astounding, but I'm still amazed by the fact that I can pick blackberries on the side of the road and it's free! Some of the berries that grow are just wild on the side of the road. Others are ones where part of the wild bush is on some one's property and the rest has grown over into the communal area of the street. I consider berries in that area to be free game. So on the way home from a morning jog or on our walks to the park, I pick them. Just call me Bethany the berry thief.
