A Perfectly Pinkalicious Party

Sophia loves books and stories. Currently one of her favorites is the Pinkalicious series. So she decided for her fourth birthday to be perfect, it had to be Pinkalicious.

Invites went out inviting her friends to come have a pinkatastic time
On party day, Sophia dressed in her best pinkalicious fashion
We invited all the little girls from Sophia's preschool class and two girls from the neighborhood. Everyone came dressed the part.

Katie, Emmy, Sabine, Ava, Ruby
Sienna, Sophia, and Victoria
As guests arrived, we asked them to draw or write their favorite pink thing
First was creating and decorating soaps that looked like cupcakes
Then we read the Pinkalicious story and danced. Everyone got a wand and a tiara (so they would be just like Pinkalicious) and we played freeze dance to music from Pinkalicious the musical.
Next: decorating real cupcakes- Everyone got a pink strawberry cupcake and then a bowl of white frosting. We went around and put as much or as little red food coloring as they chose into each girls bowl (so it could be their favorite shade of pink). Then they mixed and frosted and sprinkled to make pinkaliciously perfect cupcakes.

 Sophia's final creation

She insisted on having her hands in front of her mouth during the song so she wouldn't blow the candle out before it was time.
Present time
Eleanor showed up at the end to inspect all the presents

Happy birthday our not so little any more Pinkalicious girl
