September to Remember- Part One

This September was pretty awesome. We had cool stuff going on pretty much every weekend. The first weekend was kicked off with much hurrah because it was the most momentous time of the year. That's right- my birthday :) I consider September to be the beginning of the holiday season- first my birthday, then Halloween in October, Thanksgiving in November, and Christmas in December. A full season of celebration. Warren did not come from a family where birthdays were too big of a deal, but I have shown him the light and he now understands that a proper birthday celebration spans at least a weekend if not a week. This year he did an AWESOME job of celebrating my birthday- Friday night I came home to a vase full of 26 roses; Saturday he made me breakfast in bed and had a spa appointment booked for me while he watched the BYU game, and Monday (Sept. 3rd my actual birthday) he threw a bbque at the park with all of my friends- complete with ice cream cake! It was a wonderful weekend and a truly fine way to start September.

Way to go Warren! I love how he booked a spa apt for you during the game so he could have the best of two worlds! He's a smart one. :) If only you lived in Provo still and he could be AT the game!

You forgot to mention October 28 as the most important day of the holiday season.

It's the first day of the new year in the Berrettian calendar.
