Down at the County Fair

A few weeks back the fair was in town, so like any good American we went down to see the livestock, eat some funnel cake and check out those wacky vendors with the slice 'em dice 'em machines.

First things first we got a dipped cone

and then we enjoyed the cows

The fair has a great children's play area with farm activities, like this one where you got to pretend to milk a cow

Nearing the end of the day, we bundled ourselves up

and watched the pig races, a classic at the San Mateo county fair.
